Short, easy trail designed for families and school parties looking for a comfortable walk to identify wildlife in a natural environment. The very varied and highly educational route takes you to discover the long cliffs at Tavertet, pond life and the secrets of oak forests; it invites you to sharpen your senses as you go looking for the emblematic bell tower of the former church of Sant Romà in the Sau Reservoir or observe the birdlife in the woodland from a small hide.

Facilities and observations

The trail has a car park and a shelter, is indicated by way markers and has been adapted, as has the rest of Can Mateu, to make it completely suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Free loan of adapted equipment: handbikes, third wheels that fit on to wheelchairs, adapted dossiers for flora and fauna trails and directional bars for the blind and visually impaired. This service can be requested when you arrive or in advance by filling in a loan form.
