Terrassa offers to the visitors an extraordinary cultural and artistic heritage, an attractive cultural, business, commercial, gastronomic and sports offer for everybody. In addition, the visitors will enjoy the exceptional landscape where it is placed the Parc Natural de Sant Llorenç del Munt i L’Obac.

In a little more than 25 minutes, from Terrassa, it is easy to get to the airport and the harbour, as well as to the communication network that makes possible any route from Catalonia to the rest of Spain and South Europe.

The rich city heritage enables us to travel along Catalan and European history. Seu d’Ègara (next to the Parc de Vallparadís) and its exceptional wall paintings aspire to be recognised by UNESCO in the World Heritage List. Torre del Palau and Castell Cartoixa de Vallparadís are part of the medieval heritage.

When Terrassa became an important textile city, through wool industry left a unique architectural heritage in Catalonia. The ancient factories, the vapours, the warehouses, the chimneys... enable us to well know the architecture, the art, the way of living in XIX century and beginning of XX century: Vapor Aymerich, Amat i Jover, from 1907 (currently mNACTEC), Masia Freixa (1905-1910), Casa Alegre de Sagrega (1911)... Every year, in spring, the Fira Modernista of Terrassa reproduces the ambience and living of that time, and it has become the great modernism fair in Catalonia.

Throughout the year, the city offers lots of activities and services for everybody: the Jazz Festival, the castellers exhibitions, popular festivals, dancing, music and theatre seasons, the traditional products of Terrassa Gastronòmica, hockey, one of the best golf fields of our country, and lots of other activities to enjoy unforgettable experiences. Furthermore, if you come to work, you will be also able to enjoy this great activity offer, as well as an accommodation offer prepared to place any kind of event.
